About Us

Ruby Lee Drama Studio is owned and operated by Amanda Gaskins who felt that there was a definite need for more artistic ventures for children and teenagers in the outer boroughs of New York City. Amanda has taken acting classes throughout her life at some of New York City's best establishments. Amanda also holds a degree in Film Studies from the State University of New York at Purchase College. Amanda's goal is to teach youth valuable skills through the craft of acting.

Ruby Lee Drama Studio offers a Variety of classes and workshops aimed at coaching children and teenagers in the techniques of acting. At Ruby Lee Drama Studio, all levels of performers are welcome. Students are able to have fun and engage in activities with their peers that will give them skills that will last a lifetime. Students will leave Ruby Lee Drama Studio with public speaking skills, confidence, networking skills, and a talent that they can use in other aspects of their lives.
